We`re going to be on TV! We were invited to be featured on the Wildlife Art Gallery episodes filmed in the new High Definition 2 format. The camera crew showed up for a fast- paced weekend, running over 7 hours of footage to be edited for a 30 minute segment of the one hour episode. We were enamoured with the crew and made great friends. More info can be found at The Outdoor Channel

Wildlife artist, Jocelyn Lillpop Russell has continued to gain recognition for both paintings and sculptures. Born and raised in the beautiful San Juan Mountains in southern Colorado, she now lives in the incredible San Juan Islands in Washington state.

Although her focus has primarily been Big Game and Predators native to the Rocky Mountains, her first trip to Africa in 2001 offered a wealth of new inspirations. She returned to Tanzania in June/July of 2005. Watch for her upcoming works of African Big Game, as well as her new line of limited edition sterling silver jewelry. (pendants and bracelets)

Jocelyn was featured in the 'Artists of the Millennium' section of the Jan/Feb 2000 and the June/July 2001 issue of Wildlife Art Magazine. She was the Featured Artist (sculpture and paintings both) for the NatureWorks Wildlife Art Show 2002, and returned as their Encore Artist for 2003.

Her most recent honor was receiving a commission by the Officers and men and women of the Kenya Navy in completing a portrait plaque to be presented to President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi as he stepped down from office. The plaque measured approximately 30" wide by 36" tall and was cast in bronze. (see image below)
